KingFisher™ Presto Purification System
The Thermo Scientific KingFisher Presto offers consistent, ultrahigh-throughput extraction and purification of DNA, RNA, proteins, and cells. It is a versatile benchtop sample preparation instrument that integrates with a compatible robotic liquid handler (required) to load plates, or to integrate with other instruments, such as plate sealers or PCR instrumentation for hands-free automation. It can be integrating many KingFisher Presto together for high throughput laboratory. KingFisher Presto is optimized for purification process with up to 1 ml for 96 deep-well plates and 5ml for 24 deep-well plates format.
- Purify 96 or 24 samples at a time, depending on sample volume
- Volume range of 50–5000 µl (depending on the magnetic head) for up/down scaling of the application
- Easy connection to several liquid handling instruments
- Two interchangeable magnetic heads are available—one for 24 deep-well plates, and one for 96 deep-well (DW) and standard KF 96 plates
- An open and flexible system lets the customer use any magnetic particle-based kit to meet the application demands
- Connection: USB, RS232, LAN
- Flexible system for a wide variety of applications, throughput and reagent needs
